Turkey. Stuffing. Gravy. Mashed Potatoes. Wine. Football. Pumpkin Pie. Family. Friends. Amongst all the festivities, we wanted to take a minute to reflect on the things we are truly grateful for in 2015. It's been quite a year for Little Nest Portraits and we're excited to share with you a few of the many things we are counting as our blessings.
5. The Philadelphia and wilmington suburbs
One of the most pleasant falls in a long time. Pennsylvania has been absolutely beautiful, as reflected in this year's outdoor portraits. I am so thankful that our headquarters is located amongst the changing leaves, rolling landscape and historic buildlings.
2015 was a big year for Little Nest Portraits. We signed and opened our first franchise (and have since signed several more), moved into a new headquarters, and grew our team to 22 amazing women!
3. our stellar team
Not many people can say they're surrounded entirely by a group of talented, empowered, kind, and intelligent professionals. In 2015, our team has grown into an amazing group of (currently) all women who build each other up and are each passionate about the Little Nest brand. We've learned to trust our processes, rely on each other for support, and are excited to build on our inspiring culture as we grow our business together.
2. work/life balance
Changing careers years ago from a photographer to a studio to a studio that sells photography has allowed me the work/life harmony that I never would have been able to have otherwise. I'm excited to offer other photographers and business owners the same opportunity--- to do something we love and are extremely passionate about, yet find the time to focus on the other things that matter to us.
1. our families and kids
I am so grateful to my children for making me a better person. They are always teaching me how to be a kinder boss, more compassionate listener, and remind me every day that family comes first! My family has allowed me to make this dream possible. It's with the support of my husband and children that I've been able to make the growth of Little Nest Portraits a reality.
We are also most thankful for you, dear reader. Without your love and support this year, Little Nest Portraits would not be where we are today. Thank you for sticking with us. We wish you lots of love and light this holiday season and beyond.
We'd love to hear from you! What are you most grateful for this year?
